I have heard nothing more frightening or disturbing than this latest blather from Mike Huckabee.Speaking at a rally in South Carolina, a jewel in the buckle of the "babble belt", he boldly states his desire to change the Constitution to be more in line with "god's" word. Here at last is the rotten fruit of the mindless evangelical movement that began in the 70's. The real horror is that there are millions of these cyborgs who vote and would be as happy as a Taliban freedom fighter to usher in a true reign of terror by imposing a social order based on the dubious edicts of some mythological diety. Those of you demented beings who believe that the bible is anything more than a compilation of oft revised fairy tales present a clear and present danger to the stability of the Republic. Why does Sharia law frighten you but similarities expressed in the bible fill you with rapture? If this is not a battle cry for all rational, secular humans to rebuff the religious right I don't know what you are waiting for. I would be very willing to take up arms against a regime whose guiding principals had any association with "the word of god". Deliver us from evil!!!
